1. What is Trend Trading?
Trend trading is a method based on the principle that price tends to continue moving in the current direction unless a clear reversal signal appears.
This strategy works best when traders can identify:
The starting point of the trend,
Whether momentum is strong or weakening,
And the optimal entry point with controlled risk.
2. Understanding Imbalance in Footprint Charts
In footprint or order flow analysis, imbalance refers to a clear dominance of buy or sell volume at a specific price level.
For example:
Imbalance areas often mark:
Where strong players are taking action,
Potential support/resistance zones,
And clues about trend continuation or exhaustion.
3. Two Tools That Shape the Strategy
To build a reliable trend-following strategy, we combine:
Super JumpBoo$t
This indicator detects price compression zones that are about to explode in momentum.
When a Signal_Trade appears, it indicates a high-probability moment where a new trend is forming or accelerating.
Imbalance Volume Sensor
An advanced order flow indicator that identifies:
Volume Delta – the buy-sell volume imbalance within each candle.
Sensor Signals – Absolute Imbalance zones, where only one side (Buy or Sell) dominates completely, with no opposing pressure.
Imbalance Volume Sensor adds a second layer of confirmation based on real-time order flow.

4. How the Strategy Works

🔹 Step 1: Detect the primary signal from Super JumpBoo$t
When a Signal_Trade is triggered, it serves as the main trend signal.
The price zone where it occurs is called the JumpBoost zone (JB) — this will be your reference point for entry and stop-loss planning.
🔹 Step 2: Check for confirmation from Imbalance Volume Sensor inside the JB zone
There are two key elements to look for:
Sensor Signal:
If Imbalance Volume Sensor detects an Absolute Imbalance Zone inside the JB zone, this is considered a secondary confirmation signal for entry.
➤ Entry is only valid if the JB zone is still intact (price hasn’t broken below/above it).
Volume Delta:
If strong Volume Delta appears inside the JB zone and aligns with the trend direction from the Signal_Trade, it indicates the trend is likely to continue with strength.
➤ Volume Delta is not a signal to enter, but enhances conviction in the setup.
❗ Important Rule:
If the trend direction from Super JumpBoo$t does NOT match the direction of Imbalance Volume Sensor signals → do NOT take the trade.
This filter prevents false entries and avoids trading against the real market flow.
5. Benefits of This Strategy
✅ Clear structure: one main signal + two supporting confirmations
✅ Helps avoid early or late entries — act only when conditions align
