Hey friends, Flora here 👋
After a while of both King Order Block and Bo$$ Order Block being available on ninZa.co, I’ve gotten a lot of questions from fellow traders asking: “How are these two different?”
So today, I’m sharing my personal experience after testing both for a long time, hopefully this helps you pick the one that truly fits your trading style.
1. The core difference starts with Imbalance
To find valid order block zones, you need Imbalance.
However, the way we identify imbalance on time-based candles is completely different from how it’s done on Renko bars.
- On regular candles (time-based), you typically look for a sequence of 3 candles, where the middle one is the largest and meets a certain gap requirement between candle 1 and candle 3. This is the logic Bo$$ Order Block uses to detect zones.

- On KingRenko$ charts, that method doesn’t work because Renko bars have a completely different structure. So for King Order Block, imbalance is detected through a sequence of consecutive no-wick bars — a method that fits the Renko environment perfectly.

2. The difference in Order Block zones
- Bo$$ Order Block:
- Zone size varies depending on the candle that creates the swing point.
- Signals are triggered when the price touches the OB zone.
- Often catches OBs at the highest tops and lowest bottoms — these areas can trigger strong reversals.

- King Order Block:
- Zone size is always equal because it’s based on the reversal bar size.
- On KingRenko$, tops and bottoms are more visible thanks to the special Renko structure.
- The reversal bar can also be used as confirmation for your entries.

3. How each one feels on the screen
King Order Block
Built for Renko charts – those clean little bricks filter out the noise, making OB zones super clear.
Mechanical, consistent signals – simple Return / Break tags that sync with my KingRenko$ setup.
Great for smooth, trend-following sessions without overthinking.
Bo$$ Order Block
Designed for time-based charts – I run it on 1-minute, 5-minute, and 15-minute for intraday and swing decisions.
Automatically spots Smart-Money zones, BOS/CHOCH, Imbalances, and plots stop & target lines.
My favorite part: it nails those extreme tops/bottoms where major reversals often happen.
4. When I choose each one
I use King Order Block when… | I use Bo$$ Order Block when… |
I want a smooth, low-stress Renko session. | I’m trading on minute/tick charts and want to capture larger moves. |
I prefer short-term reversals and scalping without holding trades too long. | I want to hold trades longer for day or swing trading. |
The trend is clear and I just need clean zones. | I want full BOS/CHOCH + Imbalance context. |
I already use KingRenko$ or KingDOM$. | I trade multiple instruments and want multi-timeframe confluence. |
