That is: Profit/Max Drawdown ratio > 5:1

Also, think about it. 200 pts up or 50 pts down are the brackets and those results say it is taking 8 trades a day on average.. no chance the NQ moves like that. Whatever testing software they use is not the same as Replay so take it with a grain of salt.

But only a market replay or live walk-forward test will show real results, backtesting is not accurate. I've had dozens of fantastical backtest only to see them fail trying to replicate on live data.

-Backtesting doesn’t determine profit or loss. Even a strong backtest is just historical data live trading requires flexible risk management that adapts to changing markets.
-Sometimes, strategies with poor backtest results still perform well live when risk is managed properly. That’s because NinjaTrader 8 backtests use fixed ATM, which doesn’t allow stop trailing or RR adjustments based on live volatility.
-In the end, backtesting is just preparation, a tool to build a trading plan not something to follow blindly. The market constantly evolves, and risk management is what truly makes a strategy work.
